I'm glad it worked out naturally for you so you didn't have to wake him. I was going to say, I generally think things work out best when you let the baby decide how things go. I remember fighting and fighting it with Barrett because he was so little and I was so worried, but it just made us both stressed. So I never woke up Abbie to eat, even right at the beginning. She would go a good four hours without eating, which always worried me because B would only go 2, but she put on weight better and faster than Barrett. The result though, is that she started STTN sooner, naps better, and eats better than he ever did. So I'd just let Jett decide when he's hungry. I doubt you'd want to be woken up in the middle of the night to eat.

Oh, and because HE was ready - the feeding was much quicker and I got back to bed before 4 a.m and woke him again at almost 8!! He is an awesome sleeper.

eta: I'm not worried about my supply - he eats all day and I'm known to have an oversupply.
That's awesome. I'm so glad it's working out well. It's also nice to have a good sleeper!!!

Once a night is awesome! I'm so happy you've got such a good sleeper this time (knock on wood).

wow, that is amazing! Ella was an every 2 hour girl for a long time. I am SO glad that Jett is sleeping well and that he's eating quickly at night.

Who knows......he's been sleeping so much this morning that I have no idea how he'll sleep tonight. I guess I'm going to just take it one day at a time and hope that he continues to be a good night sleeper. I really do deserve it.

Hooray that he's sleeping so well. I'm so happy for you!!!!! yeah, it always seems that just when you worry about something, it either figures itself out, or that phase ends. I had to make myself realize that so I'd stop stressing out about something random every few weeks (eating, pooping, sleeping, fussing, teething.... LOL)
