Thanks for all the info girls. When I was pg w/ my son my cervix starting thinning out at 6 months. Before the 7 month mark it was completely thinned and dilating. My OB says it's so paper thin now he's afraid that I will go into labor much earlier than I did last time (right at 7 months, put on bedrest and meds and had him right at 8 months) but he wants to wait and see. He is suppose to send me to a high risk OB in Lexington.....I will definately ask about the pessary. That sounds a lot less risky and easier on me and the baby.
