Krysti, I had 3 weeks of bedrest with my son (placental abruption and preterm labor history) and 6 months of physical restriction. Basically, my dh did everything. I wasn't allowed to do anything- not lifting a laundry basket, no vacuuming, etc. Dh would dump the laundry on the bed and I would fold it for him and he put it away. The house was messier than usual, but the important thing was I kept my son in until 36 weeks. If dh or ds can't do it, maybe a friend can help you out.
Does your son get an allowance? I know he is busy, but maybe he could be persuaded to help you guys out right now. Good luck, I know what a strain this is. |

I really dread later on.....hopefully this pregnancy will be much smoother in the end than it was last time. When I was pg w/ Darek I LOVED my bedrest. Gave me a big excuse to get away from the ex H
but now it's different. I have a soon-to-be 12 y/o to take care of. Drive him back and forth to ball practice, go to his games, etc... Not to mention everything else I have to do during the week. I have been doing a little at a time (flylady method w/ a Krysti twist) during the day. Slowly but surely I'll get finished up. The clutter around here *tiny house* is out of control. |

Thanks Trina
I finished up my kitchen today. I'll probably go back up to Lexington tomorrow to visit T's Dad, he's still in the hospital but plan on tackling the hallway/computer desk area Tuesday. T actually cleaned out the closet for me in the bedroom but I still have some clothes to sort thru. Why is housework a never-ending task? With all of the technologies out today WTH hasn't someone invented a self-cleaning house? |
