My BF posted a cartoon on her blog showing a family walking into a hospital and coming out with a baby. Actually, the problem with her cartoon was that it showed the mother coming out with TWO babies. I thought she was announcing twins! But no, it's just one baby.

A suprise party would be cool, for whatever family member/s you wanted to tell. Or heck, it could be whole family you suprise at once. Have a baby theme, and ask family to meet at such and such time/place for a family reunion/get together. You could even sucker them into making dishes for the event. If you really wanted to suprise a certain few family members you could ask them to come at a later time than the rest of the family so everyone could be in on yelling Congratulations.
