I could only drink Root Beer while I was pregnant. If I tried to drink any other kinds of pop I would get really queasy. I munched on crushed ice a lot. The only time I ever felt queasy really was when I drank pop or when I was around foods I didn't like. The smell of Sour Kraut while pregnant was not one I really enjoyed.

Sour Kraut sounds really good. But I remember thinking that last time too and out it came!
Anyway, do you think Club Soda would work? I feel like I am drinking too much sugar (in addition to the hard candies--all which are helping), and I don't like to drink the alternate ingredients in diet soda. What is it about soda that helps your stomach anyway? I think I will at least try it. I don't want to get diabetes or anything. |

I loved toast while pregnant, and I munched on carrot sticks a lot. I craved fountain cokes from the gas station down the road like a beast. That craving has stayed, and I'm obsessed w/ them (esp. with flavoring in the coke. OMG. I want one right now.)
I hope you feel better soon. I know how that feels to feel queasy when NEEDING to eat, but nothing sounds good b/c of the queasiness. That stinks. I hope it passes quickly. For me, it was very short lived.. like 2-3 weeks at most, and I never threw up. Just felt kind of yucky at meal time.. esp. dinner. ![]() |

When I was pregnant they said if ms got too horrible that they could prescribe a pill for it but it would make me sleepy. I hate that feeling. So I was really really happy that I really didn't get ms, except maybe once or twice. Normally the only thing that bugged me was smells, BO was the worst I worked at a gas station and some of the men that came in there really stank. That sucked.
