Unhappy Worried: Waning of Symptoms

Yesterday during the evening I realized I wasn't cramping anymore, in fact a lot of my other symptoms waned. I was concerned and told DH that I actually feel normal. Haven't had any bleeding whatsoever, though I know it isn't any guarantee that things are fine. I know the only way to calm my nerves is a trip to the ob/gyn but I'm still in the process of finding one, not to mention this week is Holy Week (I live in an extremely Catholic country) and it's going to be difficult to catch someone who isn't on vacation.

I'm only five weeks and would think that my symptoms would last through at least the first trimester, but now I hardly feel anything at all to very mild. Do you ladies think that getting more sleep has had an affect? I've been sleeping between eleven and thirteen hours the past two nights!

I'm a little worried.

It is normal for symptoms to come and go. Some days you might feel lots of symptoms and then the next day you will feel fine. Hoping that everything is perfect with your little bean.

I didn't even have symptoms. I went to my OB/GYN thinking I had an infection because I was having a funny discharge. I got the shock of my life when they tested me and I came out positive. I was really worried that something was wrong the whole pregnancy and everything was fine. I wouldn't worry too much. Just be sure to take vitamins and eat right, and when you find a doctor s/he will reassure you.

Thanks ladies! I might've spoken too soon, I get the mild cramps now and then with mildly sore breasts, but what's new is slight nausea, especially upon waking up, it doesn't last long. I'm also a little grossed out when I eat something, nothing can sit in my mouth too long or else I feel like gagging. I seem to be doing alright.

I found a doctor and am going Monday for my first check up! I appreciate your words ladies.

Hope all checks out fine
My symptoms come and go like the wind. I'll feel great one minute and the next I'm tired, cramping, and moody. My breasts have been sore off and on. Some days I can barely stand to take a shower other days there is no tenderness.
Let us know how it goes.

I'm definitely not worried anymore since vomiting this morning! Hope that isn't TMI but when a friend asked how I've been feeling all I could say was "Pregnant!"
