Topic of the week!

I am going to start a topic of the week where all the moms can discuss something relevant to parenting. We can rotate being in charge of this or people can just suggest topics they are interested in discussing.

We can list topics in this thread and each week start a new thread for whatever topic we decide on. I'll go first and pick a topic.

Let's discuss our relationships with our significant other....

Topic of the Week: April 17-23 - Your relationship with your SO post baby

Other possible subjects for following weeks:

Your biggest challenge of motherhood: how things were when baby was first born, how things changed as time went on and what type of challenges are you facing right now?

Weight issues & nutrition: losing pregnancy weight and keeping it off, feeding yourself and your family.

Keeping your identity when you become "mommy".

Playing with and teaching your child. Books, videos, playgroups, projects, etc.

Please add topics that sound interesting to you and we will cover all of them!!

SAHM $$$ spending guilt
handling tantrums
difference in intimacy after having a baby
Division of household labor: what is fair when SO works long hours?
Grandparents: what is their relationship with your dc(s) and how do they fit into your child's life?
What sacrifices have you made as a SAHM or a Working Mom?
Getting over SAHM bordeom
Hot weather activities (indoor or outdoor)

I'd just like to have a new topic at the beginning of each week. Is anyone willing to volunteer to be in charge while I am away (basically the last 3 weeks in May)?? All you would have to do is start a new thread each Sunday night or Monday morning. Choose from any of the topics listed here or come up with a new one. Whatever you choose is fine.
