Default bumbo seat

For those of you that have a bumbo, do you remember how old your child was when you first started using it? I don't remember when I put DS1 in it, but I think I'm going to take it out of the garage for DS2. He seems like he's ready to use it since he has pretty good head control.

We didn't have it right away, but I feel like we bought one for him around 3 or 4 months old. We didn't use it a ton, but recently we've gotten some more use out of it with other babies that come over, and we also have used it as a fill in booster chair for C when a friend comes over and is using C's booster seat. I can't believe he still fits in it, but he actually does, and he likes it now!!! LOL He likes to sit in it to watch videos or play now too. It's "new" again, so it's cool.

Ha! That's funny, Megan! We never had a Bumbo, but ds loves to sit in them now! He especially enjoys sitting backwards with his legs flopped over the back.

Ha, Jana... silly kids! I think the recent pics that I posted in my journal include a pic of C sitting in his Bumbo seat w/ a spoon on his nose. Random! He loves that seat now (and he loves to do his spoon trick, too. Thanks, Yo Gabba Gabba!)

I got B when he was about 3.5 - 4 mo and he loved it from the get go! It was a lifesaver for me in the mornings getting ready. I have a fairly long counter in the bathroom and I sat him in in on the counter with me ( I know...no raised surfaces, but I was always standing right in front him and took him out if I walked out). Anyway, he would sit there and drink his juice and play in the mirror and let me get ready in peace!

He sat in it till almost his 3rd birthday! He LOVED it - he could stay half asleep and not fall over in those early mornings!

Actually C -- just had to say -- you and Jax were the reason I bought B one!!! You posted the pic of him in his and I just had to have one!!

I want to say A was a little over 3 months when he started gettign use of the bumbo - my SIL bought it for him and kept it there, but he always loved gettign to play like he was a big boy, sitting between my nephews, watching them play their vtech game thing.

Its one of those things, I would have used it if given it but I couldn't make myself buy it when we had SO much gear already, LOL
