swing and bouncy seat we used right off the bat (just like IU said, with a blanket around her). I used the play gym thing around 3 weeks I think?? Ella LOVED it, Nicole didn't care.

Mobile - never used one although there was one attached to her pack n play and she did stare at it a few times lol.
Baby gym - she loved it and we got a lot of use out of ours but for some reason I don't think we used it much until she was 2 months old. Bouncer - we used right away, I remember my husband taking a series of photos of her in 1 when she was less than a week old. Swing - I don't remember when we tried it for the first time but she HATED it and I could count on 2 hands the number of times we actually used it. |

Mobile: between 5 and 6 weeks. G was only interested in nursing until then.
Baby gym: G hated his, but around the same time as the mobile. Bouncer: immediately. If I was doing something, he was in it (with a plush blanket and swaddled in a waffle-weave blanket). Swing, G didn't really like his until he was 3ish months old, and it was too much swing for him when he was tiny. I probably really started trying to get him in there around 2 months. |

Mobile~ Brandon used one that was attached to the nursery center. But Marissa and Logan didn't use one. I used music from the radio with all three of them and they still love music to fall asleep to.
Baby Gym~ I remember using one for each of the kids to help them with their tummy time, but I don't remember how old they were when I introduced it to them. Bouncer~ We used them right away with all three of the kiddos! Logan still used his up until he figured out how to climb out of it while on the floor! the boys wouldn't leave Marissa alone when she was in it, so she didn't use hers as much as I would have liked for her to have. Swing~ The boys loved theirs.......when never got one with Marissa. But looking back, we should have gotten one for her! The boys used theirs right when they got home. In fact, I have pictures that Katy took of Brandon in his swing the day we came home from the hospital.

Swing and bouncer was right away. D LOVED his swing, E liked it. D's bouncer didn't vibrate (13 years ago) but he still liked it when he was old enough to make it bounce. E loved his bouncy seat.
Mobile--D would stare at his for hours. E---ah not so much. They both loved the music tho. Play gym---D and E both "liked" theirs. Only before they became mobile enough to roll/crawl. When they were just lying there they liked to look up at the toys and try to grab them. It wasn't something they were crazy about. D LOVED his walker, E hated his....but he did like his exosaucer/activity center. Of course those weren't invented when D was a baby ![]() |
