Girl's Night/Guy's Night?

We try and strike a balance. I'll go out for an evening once a month for say two months, and then he goes and spends the weekend with a buddy.. I mean, in all fairness, he's "helping" do some house maintenance with a friend who recently bought a house or he's best man at a wedding, but in my opinion, a whole weekend? fri-sun? I'm sure he's not 'working' the whole time. And tell me does it really take four men two days to put in french doors??

*sigh* I haven't had a girls night in over 2 years when I went away for the weekend w/ a couple friends. I would LOVE to have a girls night out! T plays basketball every now and then and he took D to the Nascar races a month or so ago, other than that he doesn't go out either.
I have a docs appt this coming Monday. We are going to try a new med for my Fibro, if that works and I feel more like a human again I have made up my mind that at least once a month I'm going out to dinner/shopping with the gals. Unfortunately right now I don't much feel like doing anything.
