I rarely drink soda. Every once in awhile I will splurge and drink a coke with pizza or a cheeseburger. The diet ones that contain aspartame usually give me a headache, although I am fine with Splenda so far. With my past history of gestational diabetes, I really am afraid to drink much soda.

Diet pop always make me queasy, so I can't do that. My doctor says it is the artificial sweeteners that do it to me. I try to drink plenty of water and only 1-2 pops a day. I also substitute homemade sun/green tea in for pops. I go through phases where I don't even want a pop. I do know that pop tends to make you gain water weight.
