You did the right thing good for you!! If your family thinks for one minute that you betrayed them then they aren't good enough for you. In no way shape or form should they abuse some ones children. (even if they are their own) It is horrible that you had to go through it, but at least you can stop other children from going through the same thing.

Got a call from CPS this morning. They will 'file it' but won't be following up on it. Because I didn't see it, and my mother didn't see any marks, they won't be following up. They'll file it for in case another complaint comes in.

This is important Mom's. It's illegal under the Geniva Convention to water torture war criminals, but perfectly fine to water torture your toddlers with witnesses. WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD???!!!

I sat down and cried. They won't even go out there to check on them. Those poor poor babies.

dunking his head underwater in the pool, spraying small children in the face and body, and last, mostly likely ending in switching. Gee... Maybe I should write the president and let him know that while he can't torture people overseas, he can torture children right here in Oregon.

I am sick to my stomach over that! Please don't give up. I would contact the mother again and let her know. She needs to try to protect her babies as much as you are trying. This is so scary! I would also contact CPS again at the first sign of evidence and probably again today even, asking to speak to someone as high up as you can. Don't stop. The children will thank you. I'm so, so saddened by this.

Jana, that's the worst of it. She called right after I did. We've spoken to the same guy. I thought they had to check it out too.

Is the children's mother aware of what is going on? She needs to know, now. Is your father living with all of them? IF so, he needs to be kicked out. I am mortified that CPS isn't investigating this.

Could you call the police instead? What a crappy system that doesn't do what its intended purpose is. To protect the children.

That is a really good idea - I am pretty sure that the police have to respond to any domestic disturbance call. Even if they just come and don't do anything, there is at least a police record, which could prompt CPS. It really is a shame that you have to fight for this and that CPS isn't being proactive.

Oh my gosh. That is horrible, and I can't believe CPS didn't do anything! You definitely did the right thing by calling. Is there any way for you to speak directly to their mom? If you tell her, and she doesn't do anything about it, then surely CPS will have to step in.

I am so sorry about this whole situation. Those poor kids!
