Needing a Vacation

I’m getting the itch. It is totally time for a vacation. The Summer heat is exhausting. The daily and nightly grind is getting old. I need a change of pace. We did a nice amount of traveling last year, but it’s been about 9 or 10 months since our last trip and I am hungry for some change. We have a big trip planned

Disney Trip Report

We just got home from our son’s (19 months old) first trip to Disney World! It was definitely a successful trip and it was a wonderful experience seeing his reactions and imagination expand. The cast of characters included myself and my husband, our son, my parents and my brother. Day 1: We left our home around noon, which is nap time, in hopes of

Freedom was operating the Delta flight between

We packed light, did laundry twice and had plenty of clothing and all the “supplies” we needed. We bought diapers in each destination. Huggies were readily available, but I prefer to buy the brand

Clearly I’m Insane

The countdown begins – 4 more days until we leave for Thailand. I’m thinking I must be insane to have agreed to take an almost 16 month old on over 23 hours of flying in one single day. The poor kid. He hates to be confined and he hates to sit still. Good luck to us trying to make him do this for an

Toddler Backpack Carrier

We are getting ready for another adventure. In less than 2 weeks, our little family leaves to travel to the other side of the world for 3 weeks. Strollers are pretty hard to manuever in most of the places we’ll be and we’d like to be as mobile as possible. Plus we plan on doing some hiking. So, today we went to an outdoor
