We really love Dr. Seuss books at our house. Jax has a great collection going. However, there is one thing I’ve recently begun to notice that I’m not too fond of. There are some unfavorable words, such as stupid and shut-up, in a few of the books. Not exactly words I wish to repeat every night while I’m reading a bedtime story to my child. I’ve been changing the words to silly and shush, but I don’t like that I have to do that. Aren’t these supposed to be children’s books? Have you noticed that in any of the books you read?
