Looking for bloggers…

I never realized how time consuming having two kids was.  It feels like I went from 1 to 5, not 2.  My first was and still is a very spirited child. I suppose that doesn’t change. My new baby seems to be a lot calmer and easier, but actually, he is quite demanding as well.  We’re finally at a point where my 3 year old is great at entertaining himself, but I want to play with him and interact with him when I can. The baby doesn’t nap so he needs my constant attention all day long. Neither are the greatest night sleepers either. It’s exhausting.

I don’t have the time right now needed to maintain the blog portion of BabyTalkers the way it should be. I wish I could update several times a week. I’d post about interesting and relevant tidbits of news, product reviews and information, and the (notso) exciting adventures of my life. I Just can’t at this point. I’m looking for someone….or several someones…..to temporarily take over, or at least share the responsibility of posting for me.

The last thing I want is for this site (my 3rd baby) to go down the drain. I love it and it’s so important to me, but clearly my lack of participation is having a negative affect on the forums and site in general. We have such a great community here. One of the biggest and most unique and interactive parts of this site are the journals. People here have the option to create a public or a private journal. The private ones are only available for paid subscribers (who also have access to “The Spot”). Some of our greatest and most lively conversations happen over there and not many people get to see that.

For the people that lurk or find the board through a search, it probably looks pretty dead around here. If you are a newbie, check out this post. Introduce yourself, join in the conversations, invite your friends.
