Interview with Jax

The questions are asked by me. The answers are by Jax (age 3.5) and were not changed at all. I am posting them verbatim.

For ease of reading, M = me, mommy and J = Jax.

1) M: What is something mommy always says to you?
J: I have to ask you a question.

2) M: What makes mommy happy?
J: Listening.

3) M: What makes mommy sad?
J: Doing mean stuff.

4) M: How does mommy make you laugh?
J: You tickle me.

5) M: What was mommy like as a child?
J: Me.

6) M: How old is mommy?
J: I don’t know. (He does know, btw, but apparently did not feel like answering this one)

7) M: How tall is mommy?
J: (no verbal answer on this one – he showed me with his hands)

8 ) M: What is mommy’s favorite thing to do?
J: Hug me and kiss.

9) M: What does mommy do when you’re not around?
J: Cry.

10) M: If mommy becomes famous, what will it be for?
J: Crying. (I think he just answered this because I laughed at previous answer)

11) M: What is mommy really good at?
J: Taking care of me.

12) M: What is mommy not very good at?
J: Fighting bad guys.

13) M: What does mommy do for a job?
J: Take care of me.

14) M: What is your mom’s favorite food?
J: Vegetables.

15) M: What makes you proud of mommy?
J: Doing pee pee on the potty and keeping your underwear dry.

16) M: If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
J: Blue. (from Blue’s Clues)

17) M: What do you and mommy do together?
J: Play.

18) M: How are you and mommy the same?
J: I don’t know.

19) M: How are you and mommy different?
J: I don’t know.

20) M: How do you know mommy loves you?
J: You like to give me hugs and kisses.

21) M: What does mommy like most about daddy?
J: You love him and he loves you.

22) M: Where is mommy’s favorite place to go?
J: Grocery store.
