One woman's journey through life as a mom.
My son, Jett, is known for his hair. He came out with a full head of spiky black hair which was lucky because we had imagined him as a rockstair in utero and had his name picked out for months. It just fit him.
We couldn’t go anywhere without being stopped so that people could question, comment and even touch his hair. I got so used to it after a while that I didn’t even think twice when strangers approached me.
As the year has gone by, other babies his age now have hair too. Also, at around 5 months it stopped being spiked up and started falling to his face, forcing me to cut his bangs. Once the bangs are cut, you kinda have to cut the rest or it looks pretty bizarre. Now I just clip it here and there whenever I get a chance. Needless to say, we don’t get as much attention these days. We do still get compliments on “what a head of hair” and all that, but it’s not the same amazement we once were privy to.

The difference between 10 and 11 months amazes me. He still looked so much like a baby at 10 months, but now I see a toddler!
Absolutely adorable! I can’t decide which pic is my favorite! Between month 4 and 5 is when he transformed into a mini-me for both you and big brother

Those early pictures make me giggle so much! I had forgotten how much of a rockstar he really was – SOOOO stinkin’ adorable! M is 7 weeks now and has a good amount of hair, but cannot hold a candle to Jett.
(And apparently if I use my email address that has the word spam in it, I “appear a bit spammy.” Lmao!)
Your baby is so adorable !! I just love the picture of him at 10 months. I could imagine him saying something like ” here I am, ready or not” LOL!
This kid now gets regular hair cuts. Unbelievable!
