Today, Saturday, February 21, 2009, my baby boy took his first two hour nap ever!!! Remember this is the baby that would only take 30 minute naps, although they have been getting gradually longer lately. I am a stay-at-home-mom and a full-time student. I don’t work outside the home, and when some people hear that, they seem to immediately think I do nothing. So lately nature has been calling my boy at 5 a.m. The first day, I heard him talking/fussing and thought that maybe I should just ignore it since he wasn’t crying, but call it mommy instinct or whatever, I went in to check on him anyway. Sure enough, the stink filled the room. I smelled it as soon as I opened the door. Nice!

It’s no big secret that kids love being outside. Kids love running, jumping, swinging, sliding, digging, throwing, and kicking; all of those things that we, as parents, generally only allow outside.
