Ok this may sound silly, but I feel like I’m pulling out the big guns now, having to pack my 3-year-old’s lunch 4 times a week for school. I never have a problem figuring out what to give him for lunch when we are home, but now that I have to think about it ahead of time and make sure that he’ll eat it, I feel the pressure.
Monday will be my first day packing lunch for Jax. I’m trying to come up with ideas since he’s pretty picky.
So far, I’ve come up with the following:
- hard boiled eggs
- tuna w/ crackers
- turkey slices
- roast beef slices
- cheese
- yogurt
- applesauce
- cucumbers w/ dressing for dipping
- hummus and pretzels
- cut up fruit
- cut up hot dog
- peanut butter and jelly sandwich
- crackers and cheese
- mini bagel and cream cheese
- leftover chicken from dinner (since it’s pretty good cold)
Anyone have any other good ideas?
