Pregnancy 28 weeks
Today I hit 28 weeks so I think it’s the start of my third trimester! I am definitely feeling it……as I lay here with indigestion, major sciatica, lower back pain, braxton hicks contractions, my baby kicking and just feeling pretty large.
Please excuse the dirty streaky mirror. I took my own picture tonight so I could post it. Little boy makes my belly come to a point although I’m not sure if you could really tell or not in the photo. It’s pretty funny though.
I go for my gestational diabetes test on Tuesday and after that, I think I get switched to bimonthly appointments. It’s getting close!!
Today I went through all of Jax’s old clothing. It was a project. I washed every piece of 0-6 month clothing we have and hung it all in the babies closet. The closet is full! Out of everything, I couldn’t believe how tiny all of his little socks were. I can’t imagine he was ever that small to have fit in them. Maybe they shrunk?!?!
There’s a lot going on for me to swallow these days. Jax is potty training and doing great. He turns three in a few weeks. He starts camp next Monday, which is the first time he’ll be away from me on a regular basis. He’ll be going Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 12. I know the first week is going to be really tough for him, but hopefully he’ll love it and it will be easier for him to adjust than for me. It’s a little scary thinking about random people being responsible for my baby.
Other than all of that, we have literally uprooted every single room in our house (minus our bedroom) so things have been crazy around here. We are finally starting to get things in order. I have no doubt by the time our newest little man arrives, we’ll have everything done. I just hope I have some time to rest before he gets here!

My SIL is pregnant and due August 3rd (my anniv. - woo), and she and I were just talking yesterday about how much bigger she is this time around. I think she said she is about 33 weeks now, and she is way, way bigger this time than she was last pregnancy, even though she gained a lot more weight the first time around.
You just look too cute.
