Conversation with my son
This morning my sweet husband let me sleep in late. My adorable two and half year old son greeted me with this lovely conversation.
Opening my door……
“Mooooooom”
“Yes?”
“You’re up!”
“I am”
“Good morning! I’m going to turn the lights on”
“Ok sweetie, good morning! How are you feeling today?” (he’s had a cold the past few days)
“I’m feeling happy”
“Oh good. How’s your nose? Is it still stuffy?”
“It’s doing fine, mommy”
“Did you have breakfast?”
“Daddy gave me cheerios”
“Aw, what a good daddy you have!”
“You’re a good mommy too”
I love my son!

Awwww, I love it when I get to sleep in on weekends, but I also love it when Helen manages to push through the door (that DH didn't shut quite well enough) and wakes me up. It's so good to see her smiling face in the mornings.
