We’ve all heard the sayings “out of the mouth of babes” and “kids say the darnedest things”, but what about mentioning how freaking cute their actual voices are?!? For the longest time my son was dubbed as the “what’s that?” kid. Remember he is only 19 months old, but for about 9 months it seemed that that was the only thing he would ever say. Recently he has had a real word explosion and although probably no one besides my husband and I could really understand what he’s saying, it doesn’t matter. Every word that comes out of my son’s mouth is the cutest thing of all time……to me, anyway. My husband just melts when our son says “apple”, which sounds like “ap-ah”. Such a mundane word and yet, when that little sound escapes our son’s mouth it sounds so sweet.
