No!
My son is at the age/stage where he is really wanting to show his independence. If I say yes, he says no. If I say anything really, he says no. It’s his new favorite word…..and it is driving me crazy.

Good thing B can't talk yet! Not sure how I will deal with that one. All I can say is, try to avoid yes or no questions, and instead of making a statement, ask a question (i.e. "Sit down." vs. "Do you want to sit on the floor or the chair?") I don't know if it works because I've never had occasion to try it.

Oh it has nothing to do with a yes/no question.....he just says no to pretty much anything you say. Thankfully this is not at all times, it's just when he is in a "mood".

I feel for ya, one of Andy's favorite words is no, plus he will shake his head no at us! And he has now learned the go limp trick whn he wants to walk and we pick him up. GRRR! He has also learned that if he points at what he'd liek to have daddy will give it to him, be it different food, a toy, whatever. SO now he either tells us no or shakes his head at us and then points. *sigh* Plus since daddy is so into romping with him, now A feels its okay to whack mommy with toys, hands, etc. Having a hard time breakign him of that and when I try he literally will point at Daddy.
