Mommy Questionnaire

I saw this Mommy Questionnaire floating around and thought it would be fun to answer.

1. How long have you been a mom? Since June 29, 2005

2. How many children call you Mommy? None – my son calls me MAMA!

3. Girl? Boy? Both? Boy

4. Did you know what you were having? Yes.

5. How old were you when you became a mom? I was 29.

6. How long were you in labor? 10 hours

7. What’s your favorite thing about being a mom? watching my son grow, learn and accomplish things, laughing with him, looking at him and knowing that he is mine, all the hugs and kisses, and having that special little person that counts on me for everything, appreciates me and loves me unconditionally.

8. What’s your least favorite thing? not having any time to myself anymore

9. Do you want more kids? definitely

10. Do you plan on having more soon? I hope so!

12. How many times have you been peed on? plenty

13. Barfed on? actually just a few, but I’ve been spit-up on more times than I could count. lol

14. Is your child named after anyone? no – we just thought it was a cool name

15. How did you come up with their name(s): I’m not sure, we just did

16. When your child gets in trouble, who is the bad guy? personally I think he’s too young to get “in trouble”, but when he needs to be disciplined, it depends who is playing with him at the time – either my husband or I.

17. And who is the good guy? usually Daddy

18. What is the longest you have been away from your children? 5 or 6 hours

19. Bedtime routine? dinner, story time, bath time, brushing teeth, PJ’s, bedtime

20. Are your toes painted? yes and my son constantly likes to point out that they are “red”

21. Last movie you saw in the theatre? children of men – BAD movie!

22. One thing you will not give up just because you’re a mom? social drinking and nights out with our friends

24. One thing you did give up now that you’re a mom: traveling with just my husband

25. Best mom perk: all the love I get – kisses, hugs, snuggles – it’s the best!!!

26. Snack that you sneak bites of from your child: this is my downfall, I love all of his snacks and sneak bites every single time

27. When the kids are napping, you are: on the computer

28. Where are your children now? sleeping

29. Favorite place to buy maternity clothes? Old Navy – Maternity Department

30. If I could do it over, I’d do this differently: take more time out for myself starting from the beginning so my son was used to spending time with other people.
