There are many shows I can think of that were favorites of mine at one point in my life that are no longer on the air. A few older ones as well as some fairly new ones are listed here as this week’s Friday Fifteen.
1. Seinfeld – I did not watch this one from the beginning but was very into it for many years and thought it was hilarious. The 4 main characters meshed so well and were just amazing together.
2. Friends – again, the characters together were just amazing. I loved watching Friends and was so sad when it ended.
3. Beverly Hills 90210 – this was THE show when I was in high school. My HS boyfriend looked (or so I thought – lol) like Dylan and I was absolutely obsessed. I watched it all through college until it was canceled.
4. Melrose Place – loved watching this during that high school/college time too.
5. Tru Calling – I couldn’t believe this show was only on for one season. I LOVED it!!! What happened to it? Can we write the producers begging them to bring it back? Anyone?
6. Curb Your Enthusiasm – Funniest freakin’ show. Larry David is a crazy, laughable man. There were just so many times during the show when I literally felt uncomfortable b/c he was so off the wall.
7. Six Feet Under – This might be one of my all-time favorite shows. Every episode was intense and I was always upset when they ended.
8. Will & Grace – Should have been called Jack & Karen.
9. Miss Match – Kinda cheesy and cutesy, but I liked it.
10. Punky Brewster – ok, now this is reaaaaaally old, but I remember loving this show as a little girl. Don’t you think they should do a modern day remake?? It would kick butt.
11. Arrested Development – I have no idea why this show had such low ratings and thus got canceled. Ya’ll are nuts if you didn’t like it. Maybe you just didn’t “get” it <—- said with lots of love of course.
12. Dawson’s Creek – What can I say? These kids had way too large of vocabularies and were so mature for their age but they were all so cute and it was just so entertaining….
13. Felicity – loved watching the young adults in NYC and totally envied them because it is something I always wanted to do. I used to always joke around with my brother (who lives in New York) and ask him if he saw Felicity at “Dean and Delluca”. LOL
14. Everybody Loves Raymond – I have to admit towards the end of the last season I started hating to watch it because I just hated that f’n mother in law.
15. That 80s Show – Only on for a short time and super cheesy, but it was fun to watch!
