Fifteen things I love about kids

Kids – I just love them! Obviously I love mine with all my heart and soul, but I truly love all of my friends’ kids and I love watching them and learning from them. This week my Friday Fifteen is a list of 15 things I love about little kiddos.

I love:

their innocence;
their silliness;
their voices and the way they say things;
their imagination and creativity;
the way their eyes light up when they are amazed;
their amazement and wonder at so many new things;
the way they find joy in everything, even the most mundane things;
how they interact with each other;
the way they call for “mommy” when they are scared, hurt, tired, hungry, or just want some physical contact or attention;
how everyone and everything is their “friend”;
how quickly they can be distracted and forget about what was bothering them 5 seconds ago;
how smart they are;
their laughs and how much they actually love to laugh and have fun;
their little hands and feet and bellies and cheeks; and
how individual they all are, even at such a young age!
