Fifteen Funny Things….

Fifteen funny things my son has said in the past few days.

Although I guess you kind of have to be there to hear his cute little voice and see the enthusiasm he has and the gestures he often uses. Anyway, here goes:

1. Oh, this couch is so comperbal (while testing out the couches at IKEA)

2. Don’t bug me (while taking a poop)

3. No thanks (after I ask if he wants to go take a bath)

4. I am soooooo tall

5. Just somefing else (after he’s done eating and wanting more)

6. Fank you! (thank you)

7 . I love you too, mom! (when giving me a hug - even if I had not just said I love you. lol)

8. I want your belly. (when he’s tired)

9. My kitty is with her mommy and daddy and all the other cats (when talking about our cat that recently died)

10. I’m going to Thailand (when I asked him if he knew where he was going today. We are going to gymnastics class, btw!)

11. I’m just playing

12. This is so cool (about a new toy he got yesterday)

13. That’s not nice (when crashing his cars)

14. I have a belly cake (stomach ache)

15. My shirt hurts (I think he had to burp…lol)

Comments:

  1. Lol! He is such a riot!

  2. too funny!
  3. He is too darn cute C!
  4. That is so cool that you have written them down. I feel like I need a notebook in my pocket to write down the cute things, but you are right, the sound of their voice is sometimes the best part.

I put together a new toy shelf the other night when G was sleeping and put his regular old toys back on it. When he came down in the morning he face got all bright and he said "WOW, look at that!!!!!!!" "Thanks, mama" I think he had a whole new shelf of toys!

    10. I'm going to Thailand (when I asked him if he knew where he was going today. We are going to gymnastics class, btw!)
Had you, by chance, been reading Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day to him?
  6. That's Australia. I LOVE that book.. My kids get sick of hearing it I think! LOL

I have to share. When we were at dinner last night, somehow my DH and I got on the topic of my daughter becoming a hippy when she grows up. My DH says he'd see her more as an activist, and if she's as passionate about stuff then as she in now, perhaps an ecoterrorist. I of course say "I hope not! I don't want to visit my daughter in jail or a foreign country!" And my daughter, next to me says very excitedly "I want to go to corn country!" DH says "yup, she's headed to Nebraska."

I don't know why but that made me laugh hard last night.

Also at dinner last night, I told my son to 'shhh' and put a finger up to my lips, which of course means it touches my nose as well.. and my cute little baby looks and me, sticks his finger up his nose and goes "shhhh mama" again, probably not as funny to others as it was to me.. but I laughed so hard I thought I might fall over.

Nope. I think he was playing airplane with my dad yesterday and he flew his plane to Thailand. I also think a couple of days ago, my DH was showing him some pictures of when we went there.

btw, Jessilee, those made me laugh too. My son does the same thing with Shh. haha
  8. C, he is just too cute. "I want your belly." is just adorable!
  9. LOL I love the last 2! How cute!
