Ernie’s the one for Rachel

The other day I got an email from my friend asking if I’d keep my eye out for an Ernie Doll for her daughter. You see, Rachel has become obsessed with Ernie. Apparently she dreams about him because her mom hears her saying his name in her sleep!

So, the kicker is that my friend meant in the stores, on the street, at someone else’s house (yeah, grab it and run!), just not online. Well, it’s too bad because I did happen to find a really cute and inexpensive one on the internet. Oh well! I can point them to an Elmo doll if needed. My neighbor has a TMX, maybe next time I’m there, I’ll stuff it in my diaper bag and make a quick escape. She wouldn’t notice, right?

Like most other kids, my son favors Elmo. Infact, he is hanging out right next to me with Elmo in his arms like they are old friends. He likes Big Bird too, but not quite as much.
