Nesting Momma tagged me to post 7 random things about myself. Thankfully it wasn’t 7 interesting things because I’m not sure I have too many of those.

1. When I was fifteen, I hitchhiked in La Jolla California so I could go to the Hard Rock Cafe. It was totally worth it.

2. When I was a child, I wanted to be a doctor, an artist, a ballerina, a zoo keeper and a mommy when I grew up.

3. I was a band groupie in college. My husband (then-boyfriend) was a musician in a band and I was at all of his shows lusting after him.

4. I’ve been to 19 countries outside of the USA: Bahamas, St. Lucia, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Italy, France, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Austria, Canada, Israel, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, and I can’t think of the last so maybe it is only 18. I’ve been to a lot of US states too and would love to travel around the entire country in an RV for a year. My husband does also, so we’ll see. Maybe it will happen.

5. I’m a big sap. I cry at every wedding, doesn’t matter whose. As soon as the wedding song comes on, that’s it. I also cry at anything relating to babies, animals, family, or suffering……

6. I’ve lived in Florida my entire life. Born and raised here, went to college about 6 hours away (Florida is a long state to drive) and am now back in the hometown where I grew up, raising my own family. I’d like to move. Not that I dislike it here, but I don’t love it and I am antsy to have a different experience. I grew up with no seasons and although my family traveled a lot so I was able to see the leaves change color and the snow falling, it was always on vacation. I want to LIVE IT! Plus, I hate year-round heat. I HATE IT!

7. I’m pretty boring. I don’t play any instruments. I don’t play any sports. I don’t have any exceptional talents or hobbies. I’m just me…..and I’m cool with that.
