Homemade Mac and Cheese

One of my all-time favorite childhood foods is macaroni and cheese. I’m talking straight-from-the-box crappy powdered cheese mac and cheese. My son won’t touch that stuff. He has a way more sophisticated palate than I did as a child. The kid eats lobster, poached salmon, and olives, to name just a few things. I never even tasted those foods until I was an adult.
