Product Review: Superyard XT
When my son started crawling, the house was not babyproofed at all and ofcourse he had no idea about what was off limits, which at the time seemed to be EVERYTHING!!! His Pack n Play was too restricted for him to move around and practice his mobility. I needed a solution to keep him safe, yet still having enough room to explore. So, we bought the
Superyard XT
It was only good for a very short amount of time. My son stopped looking at the toys inside and just started pulling up on the gate and trying to get out. I felt like he was an animal trapped in a cage and not a baby human learning how to crawl and explore his surroundings. We took the Superyard XT apart and now use it to block off the tv and wine rack. I think DS is so put off by it that he just ignores it because it is actually more of a deterrant than an actual safety gate since it can be fairly easily pushed aside.
I have seen many good reviews about the Superyard XT and that is why I bought it in the first place. However, it didn’t work out well for us and I wanted to show another opinion.
Recently I was searching online for safety products and came across, what I think would be a much better solution. Ofcourse having not used this myself, i cannot say for sure, but just looking at it is enough to guess it is more enjoyable for kids.
