Aside from his first few days in this world, my son has always been a good eater. He would nurse every 2 hours around the clock until he was about 6 months old. Now he is almost 10 months old and things have changed dramatically. He still loves to eat, but he is very particular about what he wants. Now that he knows he can feed himself, he wants nothing to do with jarred foods. His favoriite things are all snacks.
Number one being Gerber’s Wagon Wheels. OMG!

These things keep him busy for a long time. When we go out to dinner with our son, we bring several of these to keep him occupied. He will usually fall asleep chowing down on one.

He also REALLY loves Cheerios. I scatter them on his highchair tray and he grabs a fistful to shove in his mouth but only like one gets in. He does the same with Gerber fruit and veggie puffs.

Another favorite is Mini eggo waffles.

He now eats these for breakfast, whole and straight from the freezer. I think it feels good on his teething gums.
