Travelling with an infant poses a few dilemmas. We are facing one right now on whether or not to bring a carseat for the plane for our son who will be 11 months at the time. I’ll tell you that it’s not going to happen. Unfortunately, we have to deal with a 14-hour plane ride with baby on our laps! YIKES!!!! In order to use a carseat, we would need a seperate seat for baby. In order to have a seperate seat, we’d need to fly economy and we are not. We used miles to upgrade to business class so that we would be more comfortable. The question is, are we really going to be more comfortable?!?! We are bringing a stroller and an Ergo carrier for our trip, but the hassle in the airport alone is something I am not looking forward to. I am thinking about getting the gogo kidz travelmate for future trips, with shorter flights where we WILL be purchasing a seperate seat.

Airports
