Fifteen things I swore I’d never do…
Before I became I mom, I would look at other moms and sigh. I wondered why they couldn’t control their child or why they would let them eat ice cream or how they could leave the house looking so shlumpy. Now I understand. All of my “I nevers” flew out the window when I joined the mommy club.
Of course, I still have standards for myself and my child, but I’ve wised up and realized that I had no clue what I was getting myself into. Therefore, I had no place saying what I would or would not do about something I was not.
I bring to you, fifteen things I swore I’d never do, but did anyway.
1. Co-sleep
2. Let my son use a pacifier
3. Give my child junk food
4. Give in to temper tantrums
5. Let my child watch too much television
6. Ignore my child
7. Lose my temper
8. Not talk about my kid too much
9. Skip showers
10. Eat my kid’s food
11. Breast feed in public
12. Breast feed for over a year
13. Buy too many toys and clothes for my child
14. Not accept help
15. Not take time for myself
