Fifteen things I love about being a mom

Every Friday I am going to make a point to share fifteen things about myself. I will call these posts “Friday’s Fifteen”. With Thanksgiving coming up next week, I am going to share fifteen things that I am thankful I’m a mom for. Not necessarily in this order:

1. I’m thankful that it’s ok when I look at baby clothes and toys because I get to actually buy them for someone now.

2. I’m thankful that I get to watch cartoons and no one thinks I’m weird.

3. I’m thankful that every morning I get to see the most precious face in the world right next to me.

4. I’m thankful that every day I get countless hugs and kisses from the person I think is the cutest on earth.

5. I’m thankful that I get to relive childhood and see the world through different eyes.

6. I’m thankful that taking my son in his stroller for a walk around the neighborhood is actually exercise!

7. I’m thankful that chasing my son around the park is a workout too! (these things are FUN!)

8. I’m thankful that sharing food with my son makes my portions smaller. :D

9. I’m thankful that my husband and I have this beautiful gift that we created together.

10. I’m thankful that I can sympathize and relate to other moms and there is never a shortage of things to talk about.

11. I’m thankful that I feel proud when my little guy accomplishes something because I love that feeling!

12. I’m thankful that I get tons of smiles and compliments from strangers when they see me with my boy!

13. I’m thankful that I have my own little family that I’m responsible for.

14. I’m thankful that there is never a dull moment.

15. I’m thankful that I get to give and receive more love than I could have ever imagined before becoming a MOM!
