While playing with my son today I noticed his reaction to one book was a little more dramatic than most of the other books we have in the house. He pays close attention to the pages and will try to turn each page.
I wanted to ask the BabyTalkers community what other books are favored by their kids. Since my curiousity got me going, I might as well start off. My son really likes Good Night Moon. Now don’t get me wrong, this boy will put any book in his mouth. However, what he sees in a book and how the book tastes are two different worlds in baby literature land.
After posing the question, some of the moms responded in the forums with their favorites.
Jana suggested When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six, by A.A. Milne
BugsMom’s daughter loves Guess How Much I Love You, Just in Case You Ever Wonder and The Cat That Climbed the Christmas Tree.
Deana posted her favorite library with The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Runaway Bunny, Oh the Places You GO, the Dr Suess Sleep book, Rainbow Fish, Pat the Bunny, and Goodnight Lulu. Good Night Moon made a cameo appearance in this list too.
